Description: In this course, attendees will learn how to access a variety of housing pathways available for people who are experiencing, or at risk of homelessness, beyond the Coordinated Entry System. This will include information about the Chicago Housing Authority, Statewide Referral Network, senior housing, and more. Attendees will also learn about the difference between affordable, subsidized, and tax credit units, including the various income requirements.

Intended audience: Service providers who support participants experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness, are encouraged to attend. This includes street outreach workers; drop-in center case managers; emergency shelter case managers; and housing providers.
