Returns to Homelessness Measurement: How and why it is used in the Chicago CoC

Description
This is a recording of a webinar that took place on Thursday, December 12, 2024.

Description: This webinar will delve into the "Returns to Homelessness" (RtH) metric, a crucial tool for Continuum of Care (CoC) members. For projects that complete the Local Evaluation Instrument (LEI), RtH will be part of their performance score beginning this year. In addition, HUD uses this metric as part of its annual evaluation of our CoC's performance. This session will examine the methodology used to calculate the number of participants returning to homelessness, trace the historical evolution of this metric within the CoC framework, and provide some insights into the data at hand.
