Description: The Chicago Continuum of Care (CoC) is a membership organization comprised of more than 100 organizations and individuals who work to prevent and end homelessness in Chicago. Mandated by the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the CoC strategizes and plans a coordinated, comprehensive approach to providing housing and services for people experiencing homelessness.This session will cover the CoC components, structure, HUD CoC Funding Process and opportunities for CoC Members to shape the strategic direction of the CoC’s work.

Recommended Audience: Anyone interested in learning more about the Chicago Continuum of Care structure; direct serve staff working in the field of homelessness; staff at CoC member organizations; individuals with lived experience of homelessness interested in becoming involved in the CoC
