Homelessness Prevention Resources in Chicago-04.17.24

Description
This is a recording of a training that took place on April 17th, 2024.

Description: Emergency shelters and housing services offered through the Coordinated Entry System are resources available for individuals in Chicago who are already experiencing homelessness. But there are many residents who are at risk of losing housing and are unable to access temporary or permanent housing options. Our solutions to ending homelessness must also prevent homelessness before it begins. Join us for a webinar hosted by 211 Metro Chicago to provide an overview of homelessness prevention resources available in Chicago, including an overview of the assessment process and resources provided when a client calls the Homelessness Prevention Call Center.

Recommended Audience: Any Chicago community members who want to know how to best support those at risk for homelessness. Especially direct service staff who may work with clients at risk for homelessness

Presenter: 211 Metro Chicago staff

Training Format: Recorded Webinar
