Description: This training builds upon the Homeless Documentation for Participants Fleeing or Attempting to Flee Domestic Violence and is designed to deepen understanding of Category 4 homelessness under the HEARTH Act. Participants will explore each criterion associated with Category 4 homelessness and learn how to assess program eligibility based on these requirements.

Through this training, attendees will gain practical strategies for developing a clear and consistent eligibility screening process, along with best practices for information gathering that prioritize the safety and dignity of survivors.

Recommended Audience: Housing providers, case managers, and partner agency staff who assist participants fleeing or attempting to flee Domestic Violence.
