AME Process Training

Description
Description: The Rapid Rehousing programs funded under American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) will identify cohorts of households at various locations throughout Chicago’s crisis response system (shelters, encampments, drop-in centers). These cohorts will participate in Accelerated Moving Events (AMEs). At AMEs participants will complete the housing process. A participant that goes through an AME will meet their RRH case manager onsite, complete an intake interview, identify an apartment through virtual viewings, and meet with the Chicago Furniture Bank.

Intended Audience: This training is intended for case managers and supervisors who are supporting participants through Accelerated Moving Events (AME). This training can be used to support onboarding new staff to the AME/RRH process or for those who need a refresher.

Training Format: Self-Paced Course
