Description:This training focuses on the theory behind harm reduction. It provides a historical context for harm reduction and evidence in favor of using a harm reduction approach. It will assist participants with understanding the importance of utilizing harm reduction with clients and the foundational principles of what a harm reduction approach entails.

Recommended Audience: Any direct service staff, especially those working with clients engaging in substance use
